For many years the Chatteris Music Society was the best kept secret in East Anglia. Well, that is no longer the case because the popularity of the concerts we stage have ensured our society is known all over Anglia and beyond. For those of you who wish to know us better please read this web site to see who has performed at our recent concerts, and who will be coming to us in the coming months.

Chatteris Music Society presents a variety of stunning musical events to the people of Fenland; jazz, opera, military bands, 'come and sing', wind ensembles, choral works and recitals.

We also arrange trips to concert halls in London and the provinces to operas, ballet, orchestral concerts. We are non profit making and this is reflected in our ticket prices.

Our hospitality is second to none!

So why not come along to one of our events - you will be made to feel most welcome.

We are delighted that Andrew Parnell is our Patron. Andrew has accompanied St Albans Cathedral Choir in recordings and radio and television broadcasts and has accompanied Norwich Cathedral Girls' Choir on tour in Holland. Andrew is a composer, and is conductor of Ely Choral Society, principal conductor of Cambridgeshire Choral Society and Wymondham Symphony Orchestra. He has also made numerous solo recordings on the organ and harpsichord.

He can frequently be heard directing or accompanying the Daily Service on BBC Radio 4 and has accompanied the BBC Singers on BBC Radio 3.
